Hello to all
Just wanted to get on here and into my self
I am Mark Schaefer from Columbus, Indiana
I am a Race Track Photographer at a local dirt stock car track.
This is where i kinda found this site, as i have taken photos for a while now I have decided to start doing Video stuff also.
We have created a web site that incorporates a YouTube and Facebook accounts.
As of right now its off season for racing and we have been doing some interviews with drivers, just to try to learn about the video camera we purchased which is a Panasonic ag-ac90.
We also have Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing part
All of this stuff we are learning on our own by trial and error.
It has been a lot of learning so far and im sure lots more, but this site im sure will be very helpful, looks to be a lot of very talented people on here.
Our site is if im allowed sorry if not http://www.inthefastlaneproductions.com
And most up to date stuff is on the YouTube site the YouTube logo will take you directly to that site.
Thanks and hope to learn a lot from here.

Welcome Mark, and glad you decided to join the community. Racing should give you no end of exciting footage. I took a look at your interviews and you're doing really well using the lighting which is a big plus. You might want to move to lav mics as soon as you can though. That's kind of the standard and then you don't have to train anyone on where and how to hold a mic:-) For a static interview you could get away with wired lavs which are a lot cheaper than wireless.

Thanks so much Tom
That was one big problem we had (mics) but wasnt sure how to rid of the problem now with your help here we will look into those further for sure
Any Suggestions as to what might be a good choise for us and still be able to hook the audio into our AG AC90 that has xlr inputs for the audio
Thanks again
