I am a budding videographer located in Puerto Rico. We have been running a successful photography studio for a bit over a year. There is a large demand for video services in our locale as well, so we're putting together equipment and learning the ropes. We've so far done a handful of video shoots to great response, and we're hoping to have a decent showreel put together in the next couple of months.
We currently have a few of our DSLRs that shoot video, a pile of lenses as well as a JVC HM100 as a sort of B-cam and pseudo-audio recording device. We have a handful of audio items (wireless system, mics, etc.), and will be investing in more audio and support equipment soon. We've got the basics of editing down, and while I probably can't come anywhere near the level of most people here, I am enjoying the learning process. That is obviously the reason I've made a forum account, to learn everything I can, get critiques and maybe help where I can with the few things I do know.
Thanks for welcoming me to the community, and I look forward to lengthy discussions with all!
