I recently recieved my new XF100. It's files are MXF files. I've used the batch conversion on my Editing software to convert them into MPEG4 since my NLE software doesn't support MXF files. I've heard that doing this compresses the "metadata" and you lose quality. (Obviously I'm new to this haha) So my question is, what NLE software is available that allows you to work with the MXF files directly from the CF card in native form? I can't afford CS5 and I've heard Vegas has a problem with MXF files that aren't from a sony camera. My range would probably be under $200. Thanks in advance you guys.
