Helicopter Aerial Shots

A polarizer would be good if you're trying to get water or foliage to look a certain way, but the UV filter will increase contrast on things at a far distance, something not correctable with white balance or a pol.

Since I've only done still and further B&W still work where aerial haze has been a problem, the filters I 'would' use would be in the yellows or reds.

Is there an equivalent for digital video or is the UV filter the only thing one can use?

I thought maybe a light yellow would work. Such that one could then 'balance' that out.
