Hi there,

I really need help as I don't know much of this kind of file that it's used for that demo video that run in all of the HD TV set in todays's stores.
I have edited a video in HD 1080i60 and now my client is introducing a Samsung HD TV set desiugned by him. Samsung here do not have enough dual standard HD DVD/Blue Ray players to provide for the incoming exibition, so they asked me to provide a TP file (?) that they'll upload in all of the monitors.
How can I convert it with Compressor or utility or software?

Thank you all in advance!!

An MPEG 2 file recorded from digital TV (broadcast, cable, or satellite) is in Transport Stream format with smaller records. It typically has an extension of TP or TS.

Any program that plays DVD video will also play MPG files, but you often have to upgrade to the latest release before they will also play HDTV TP/TS files.

Hmmm... no idea!! Still looking...

This might do what you want...

CaptainM,

all of my thanks!! You saved us!
The software is what we were looking for, even if a $ 1.495 tag for just this video is not cheap! But if clients want, clients pay!

Take care,

Boy, I sure hope it works!! Honest... I have no recommendation for that software... I hope you researched it and indeed it IS what you need. (not that I DON'T recommend... I just have no idea)

As supposed, neither the client nor the sponsor decided to pay for that software!
So finally they provided an HD DVD/Blueray player and we did an HD Dvd through DVDSP.
