Im trying to do a motion effect with premiere pro, and after i render it its not smoot jitters! even when i as premiere effects its jittering. i have a matrox rtx100 card, p4, very fast system. matrox effects are fine, but as soon as i add premiere pro 1.5 effects its not smooth. please help. thank you .

Jitters, huh? Maybe a little less caffeine? :laugh:

I've not used a RTX100 card. Is your's new? Has this worked fine in the past but suddenly acted up? Without h/w assist, most built-in effects run well enough on my system; real good if I render the timeline. Magic Bullet? Well, we won't go there.

How much memory do you have on your system? Have you tried exiting the program and starting it again to see if virtual memory usage has got you paging too much? What are your project settings in terms of timeline fps and what kind of footage are you placing on it? Just some thoughts.

lets say i put a regular photoshop image, drop frame timeline, i do a motion, and i render , its not smooth, why is it?

Sometimes even a fast CPU doesn't have enough power to run the video at real time. Try exporting the clip as a movie, then re-import it and see if it still stutters.
