Heavy Duty Tripod

Yup ^

What is your budget? Manfrotto really isn't a professional name in the tripod industry. For that look into Sachtler, O'Connor, Vinten etc. And you'll pretty much pay accordingly.

I've been looking for heavy duty tripod too and would you say the legs aren't as important as heads?

I say this because, If I get like a libec legs (supports 44lbs) with a Sachtler head, I would save so much money rather then buying a Sachtler leg that cost 3 times more....(and supports the same amount)
or should I not be cheap on the legs...???

Well, what's your definition for "heavy duty"? Some of the best tripods are actually quite light and tripods that are made for heavier cameras (30-40 lbs) usually don't work as well when you put 5-6 lbs cameras on them. There's some very good options for under $1k but it depends on what your needs and budget is.
