Heating an outdoor set

we're shooting a spot for a sporting goods store that takes place in a Dugout at a baseball stadium. but its really really cold in Vermont. And one of the actors will be naked. Actually he'll be wearing a flesh colored Speedo.

So we'll need to heat for two reasons: to keep the actors comfortable and hopefully make it so we can't see their breath.

Any ideas how to do this?

One of those car garage heaters will do the trick. Had to use one about a month ago for an outdoor scene. The only thing is that its noisy.

yeah i think noise would be an issue with the garage heater. Bonfire would probably produce some strange light/flicker.

i found some Patio heaters i can rent for $125 that run on propane. Hoefully that'll do it.

We used some heaters that you attach to propane tanks one time. It was very cold (here in montreal) and didn't work all too great, but it was something.

As for breath... the only thing I can think of is to shoot on a windy day (although it makes it even colder), but it takes away the breath.

Propane is prob the best if you're looking for something portable.
