if you're shooting 24p on a DVX100A, which headphones will eliminate the echo
i already know about the etymotics but i wanna know if there are any full size headphones that'll eliminate the echo.

Well unless you get 100% noise cancelling headphones nothing will completely eliminate the echo. Nature of the beast in the delay of the audio.

I know you mentioned the ety's but, I'm really happy with my Etymotics (er4P). You can get them for $200 online. Plus they are great with the ipod You need to get a headphone amp as well (SR71). Yes, the hole goes quite deep :0

Well, if you are not using them for the iPOD and just need them to prevent delay in audio, the E6 buds would be perfect. They are about $100 bucks and sound great. They are not as attractive to look at as, say, the SONY-7506 phones, but if you want to prevent the echo, you need these. If you want sexy, get the SONY phones.

Personally, I would pick performance over peacocking, any day.
