tomorrow ill be making the trip from san diego up to EVS with cash in hand to finally purchase the dvx100b.

im kinda excited since my sony vx1000 has been broken for a couple months. at first i wanted the hvx200 like everyone else on the planet but i've decided to save some money and go with the B. anyways i cant afford the p2 cards right now so no need to have an HD camera for the time being.

so EVS employees ill be there tomorrow trading some savings for a new camera. :)
 
Your so lucky you live within driving distance of them. It would be so swet to be able to rent from them but I live on the east coast.
 
Did you verify that they have them in stock? They probably do but you don't want to get there and then find out that they are out of stock.

Great guys, there! Really helpful. I've gotten a ton of stuff from them, including my DVX100A.
 
if EVS was within driving distance from me i would visit there everyday over this break and not be bored one minute.
 
Although the folks at EVS are very kind... the storefront is only about as big as my garage. 2-car. And maybe THATs bigger.

Browse the internet store and go there with EXACTLY what you want. Not much to kind of walk around and wish.

Not like BnH.

But again, the folks at EVS really are nice. Don't go on Wednesdays, RUSH is off with his BMW! (HAHA)

yeah I've been sitting on hold for about a half hour right now. you made a good point i dont want to drive up there if they are not in stock. but i dont have time to go up there until next week sometime.

can anyone confirm that EVS has the dvx100b in stock ?

That was the old showroom. The new one is much bigger, although I haven't been there recently so I don't know if the new one is fully operational yet.
 
I keep telling Rush they need to get out here on the East Coast. Certainly we can find him a two car garage! I'd give 'em mine but I only have a one car parking space, and that would be too much like a flea market for EVS. :)

New showroom is open and it's huge. Old showroom now has ping pong noises coming out of it.:huh:
 
yeh the new shoroom is sweet, i live 2 blocks away from them. i think they have like 20 more in stock. i got my B about a week and half ago. sweet camera. but call to make sure, that place is always packed.
 
Hello a.king, the last I checked we had plenty 100B's in stock and 25 more on the way. Should be okay. I am on vacation this week, won't be in at all until next week.

Capt.M, you mean my '87 Toyota BMW M3 Rocket? :grin:

Yeah the new showroom is a relief for all of us, especially when the hot months come. It won't be 91 degrees in there anymore like it used to. We also installed a new A/C unit too. Speedrail for hanging lights is going up soon too.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again, if I lived that close to EVS, I would be even more broke than I already am.......
