Hey there everyone. I have a commercial shoot coming up soon and it will be the first time dealing with HD. I will be using a HDX900 along with a Firestore and also planning on recording to tape at the same time. Will be viewing on a pany 17 LCD monitor. Post will be done on a PPC G5 quad core, FCP 5.1.4, Kona LHe, Sonnet Tech eSATA and using the same monitor above for preview. Going to import using firestore and have the camera for tape digitize via firewire for backup if the firestore goes down.
Has anyone on here dealt with this setup and has any input for operation and workflow? Camera setup? Firestore setup? FCP workflow? (I have tried doing some google searches but just come up with stuff for the HVX200)
I will be getting the setup a couple days in advance to work out any kinks. But if anyone has any other input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
