I have and am in the process of replacing a Sony HVR-A1 camera (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?266715-Replacing-Sony-HVR-A1) and will still have a fare amount of tape that will need to be re-digitised (reason not necessary to go into).
Does anybody know of a good deck that will do the job? I have seen a Sony GV-D300 for sale however this is a bit old and I am not sure if it will digitise HDV.
I would prefer second hand as I would prefer to spend my money on a replacement camera but at the moment I am just keen to hear peoples thoughts or suggestions.
