HDV m2t to SMart tv usb port

Hallo,

wanted to ask you suggestions about the best way to render a m2t file HDV1080 50i to be read on usb port of nowadays smart TVs. I use Sony Vegas 10
Unfortunately my Panasonic and Samsung can't read the m2t files:(

convert the file to a different format. If you say render, why not render it out of your NLE to say, h264 ? unless I'm missing something it should be straight foreword.
 
What do the manuals for your TVs say about format requirements for this purpose?
Sony AVC gives you lots of options. Try the Internet 1280x720 preset.
