I've had trouble capturing mpeg 2 in Vegas--I get red frames, black frames, nothing really seems right. I've tried to use the Cineform stand alone capture module. But let's say I have Firestore and I'm Dumping some m2 files from Firestore into Vegas 6.0d, would the built in Cineform Codec that's included with Vegas now perhaps be the best way to create a workable solid timeline to manipulate?
