HDMI to usb converter?

I am trying to figure out a way to get the signal from my hmc150 into a tablet pc, to serve two purposes.

1). Record a backup file in the worst case scenario the sd card fails.

2). Stream live out to the web.

This is the closest thing I found so far, but not sure if it goes hdmi to usb. I believe it sends the video in the opposite direction I want it to go.

Anyone know any information on this suject? I am hoping to use a tablet pc, cause I do a lot of live events and would like to not carry around a bulky laptop.

You're going to want a teradek cube if you're going to be live streaming or something like an atomos ninja to capture off of hdmi. You could also just purchase much higher quality SD cards to handle the first issue, although the atomos would also record in a far better codec with better color space. Since the hmc150 has a great imager you'd actually see markedly better footage out of it than you ever have with your camera until now.

Matrox MXO2 can record realtime to your PC or Mac, and output a video signal simultaneously. Your cpu would need a expansion card slot, so this might not work for a tablet.

Thanks guys. I am looking into all these options. I mainly will be recording some football games in an area without internet access and am trying to find what the best solution is. Am going to start a new thread with some of the options I found.
