I am looking to get a 15"-19" monitor to monitor FCP to. I'm using the Intensity Pro card with HDMI outputs. I'm not looking to spend $3000 on a high end monitor, up to $1000 is where I'm looking.
Thing is I'm looking at "HD" monitors that have resolutions of 800x740 and such. Some monitors with those resolutions are over $2000. What am I missing here? I have an Ikan 8000 that I use in the field, good for framing but the resolution is horrible, not that I expected it to be pristine for $800 but still money is money.
Any suggestions?
