hdmi > Atomos Samurai... what do you do?

So Atomos is still holding out on us with their H2S unit...

So please share your way of converting an HDMI signal to SDI for the samurai to read...
My camera is the FS100

Thank you

Ofcourse I mean... apart from attaching a monitor with loop through from HDMi > SDi. Are there really no cheap alternatives in the price area of the coming H2S converter?

Grrrr! don't get me started....

First it was "end of 2011), than it was March, than "right after NAB" than it was end of June...
Last word on the delivery date was end of July - still waiting. Also on my DnxHD update.

While waiting on the H2S (I payed for in February) I (ab)use the BM shuttle for conversion.
A bit cumbersome, but works fine.

Atomos offered Ninja 2 for existing Samurai owners for only $799 and that is a better option than $350 for a converter in my opinion, in fact I just got one, and it is terrific. The screen is just as bright, same resolution, and a second set of batteries, etc. I use the Ninja 2 with my Nikon D4 and the Samurai with the F3 so no need to swap it out with a converter.
