HDFEST's Los Angeles Event is coming up next week December 1st-5th. Not only is HDFEST an all high-def film festival, but the events have panels and seminars on HD filmmaking and digital cinema.

We have a couple free all-access passes available, if anyone from dvxuser is interested, please email admin@hdfest.com with your name (and your guests name) your address, and email address. We will get back to you with information on how to pick up your free tickets.

The complete schedule can be found at www.hdfest.com. Panels and seminars include "HDV Cameras: Separating Fact from Fiction, "HDFEST HD Filmmaker Panel Achieving Great Results with High Definition, "HD Innovations and the Future of Special and Visual Effects," and "4K The Future of Filmmaking."

I already received a reply and my passes are waiting at will call!

Really looking forward to attending.

khmuse/NBCshooter (and anyone else who's interested)-
If you're going, do you want to meet up and chat at the show? Maybe this could be our first quasi DVXuser group meeting? I know we've been trying to get people on the same page for a while. This sounds like the thing that could make it happen.

Touch base, let me know-

Oh, now that would be interesting -- I wonder who the panelists are for that one? 'cause there's an awful lot of fact and fiction going around about that format!
