I was trying to figure out the best HDD setup for fast operation, renders, and previews within my budget. I realized that knowing, at least roughly, how fast my system is outputing a rendered file into my Target drive would really help...I realize that each computer configuration will have different render times and therefore the MB/s of the data being recorded will vary too. But depending on how big or small the number of an even slightly similar system might be enough to know if an upgrade would be unnecessary.
So can anyone who rendered some HD lately and could share their render times and file size?
Better yet, if anyone knows the peak render write speed somehow of a system similar to mine that'd be great!
