Como's back. back again
Editing a fishing show in HDV.
Settings-
29.97, HDV, Sony Z1U.
The first 6 shows are all SD, so I'll have to change all my AE files to HD. But my main question is this:
I'll be having the producer of the show with me for all 19 shows I create. He sits with me for the whole show (usually takes 7-8 hours a day to complete one show)...
What settings in FCP can I use to speed up the edit? So it won't lag? Like maybe setting my proxies lower, or setting the quality low.
I'll be viewing in 100%, on 500 gig external LaCie hard drives, via FIREWIRE 800 on my new Imac, 500 gig hard drive, 4 gigs of ram, and 3.06 ghz processor.
Sometimes in FCP my footage will randomly start to go all jittery, thus having making me to restart FCP and it goes well after, I do NOT want this to happen in HD.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Robbie
