So I have good hard drives but I feel like I might be lacking performance with how I have them setup with my workflow.
I have Vegas on my Intel SSD. Then I have a 7200RPM 1TB HD where I keep the project files and footage. (I also have a 500GB backup where I back my stuff up to, but not relevant).
I see the benefit of my SSD because Vegas loads in about 4 seconds. But would it be better to put the project file on the SSD too? Maybe put everything on the SSD while I'm working on it, footage and all?
Or maybe it'd be better to put the footage on another HD separate from my 1TB drive?
All help is much appreciated!
edit: my Temporary Files Folder is on my SSD right now.
