hd to dvd authoring using compressor

Hi Guys,
Been looking around for answers to this one, so please help if you can...
Our completed project is a 1920 x 1080 25fps (south africa) upper field, uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2 quicktime.
I would like to create a standard and an hd dvd using final cut 6.0.6, compressor 3.0.5 and dvd studio pro 4.
I don't know what route to take regarding field dominance and dimensions for hd and sd output to dvd as there are so many differing opinions out there.
please help as we're really at our wits end here.

Quick question - are you sure that your 25fps footage is interlaced? I shoot PAL occasionally and the only interlaced HD format I am aware of is 50i. Anything shot at 25 fps is likely progressive.

Now, I might be wrong, but this kind of information directly relates to the quality of advice you will receive.
