Apple has launched a new HD gallery that has (at the moment) 4 movie trailers and a few other videos... all in HD res... using the h.264 codec..

*sigh*

Ha ha- don't worry QT7 Windows will be coming soon. I've been waiting for a usable/up to date WMP on the Mac for years. Wishful thinking.

It REALLY is a great codec.

This was saved as internet cable default setting from FCP.
And it doesn't loose resolution when you scale it.

Those samples are awesome. The 2 music videos are great. I have the 23" display, and everything just pops! The detail is unbelievable.

It's true. But Apple has much more incentive to do so . . . if they want most people watching QTs.
