HD Production Monitor

Hi guys,
I'm looking into finding a top-notch HD production monitor, ideally around the 15"/17" area. I'm going to be using it both on the shoot for focus and lighting and probably in the edit as well for grading.

I've had a look around, and came across the Panasonic BT-LH1700W. It looks like a pretty well built, good quality monitor, and it's at a price I'm willing to pay. I've read a few positive reviews on it, but I was wondering if anybody here had any opinions on this, or another monitor they prefer?

The price I've found for it in the UK is £2,814.13
Inc VAT from http://www.libraprobroadcast.co.uk

Does this sound reasonable? I did notice that it was called the Panasonic BT-LH1700WE, rather than just the W. Is it a different product?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I just finished using this monitor on a television pilot that I was posting. The thing is a sweetheart. I really liked it and the size was about perfect. SDI right out of my Avid was great. We shot the project with Panny's SDX-900 cameras with Panavision lenses. And we also used the ole HVX-200 as a "C" camera inside vehicles etc.

We used this monitor on location and in post. Loved it. You should always rent big stuff like this before you buy it though to make sure its what you need.

Has anyone got any ideas about the difference between the BT-LH1700W and BT-LH1700WE? I can't seem to find any.
