HD production monitor for HVX

[J P]

I want to add a production monitor to my HVX package. I think something in the 9" range would be best. So far I've used the 9" Sony HD CRT type and also a Sony HD LCD type. I love the portability of the LCD one. I wish I could see a side-by-side comparrison to see the difference.

Does anyone know how much these things cost? Or any other reccomendations?

B&H has 'em for $2795. Got mine two weeks ago . . . (will operate off 110v AC or 12v DC) positively love it.

I just bought the BTLH-900a, 8.5" LCD. It's awesome but pricey. $4.3K.

The 17" monitor looks great. Why is the 8.5" more expensive than the 17"?

Portability, resolution & quality all in a very compact size. It's every bit the monitor that the 17" is but less than half the size and runs on Anton Bauer batteries.
