HD problem

I use vegas 6 and DVD arch 3. I originally had some problems rendering in vegas with HD footage. My videos were very dark. So I started rendering them with the default uncompressed settings. I thought that did the trick until I tried to burn the video. Once again dark display qualities. Any tricks of the trade that can solve my issues...well at least my video issues=) Thanks.

This is one of the reasons you need to preview out to a TV or a calibrated monitor while you edit -- so you can see what you'll get when you're done. Images on a computer screen don't look the same as they do on a TV screen.

That did the trick, thanks. Most of my renders looked like the footage prior to this experience. But then again, I hadn't rendered HD before. A little gama, color corrector, offset tweaking and presto. I just assumed that something abnormal was occuring. I appreciate the feedback.
