hd netflix streaming on an xbox 360

agreed. I already have a 360 and an $8 netflix account gets u unlimited streaming movies.

only thing is the online library is still fairly small. I think I heard 10,000. sound like a lot, but when you compare it to the 70,000 dvds they rent... and a huge portion of that 10,000 is weird, no budget horror crap which I have no interest in. and an even smaller portion of those 10,000 are in HD.

And i'm hearing contradicting reports on the video quality. For $8 though, I'm willing to find out for myself. I just hope a mass of new users from 360s will motivate netflix to really get the ball rolling and make the service into the one we all want.

EDIT: just read the article. yeah, only 300 movies/episodes available in HD for now.

Well $8 plus the cost of XBOX Live Gold.

Most 360 owners already have a gold LIVE membership and netflix knows that. However if you don't have a device yet, then yes, you need to buy a 360, a gold LIVE membership, and a netflix account.
