I've been previewing firewire out through and old DV camera to a calibrated SD monitor Vegas for years with good results. I am now doing a majoity HD editing now, so I am curious about the HD monitoring options available to Vegas Pro users. Are there any compatible external hardware devices available via AJA, Blackmagic, or other 3rd party suppliers that would allow monitoring via HDMI or HD-SDI?
