HD lens options?

Okay, I pretty much decided I'm waiting for the HVX200 this winter.

I'm thrilled with what I'm seeing about this micro35 for 850 bucks and I intend to buy that rig when I get the camera.

what I need to know from you geniuses out there who have HD experience, is what are the lowest cost decent lenses on the market I'll be able to use?

I'll be looking for something very wide and possible a few primes or a single zoom, depending on budget as you might imagine.

Keep in mind this will be for film work and I want to be able to rack focus without a lot of "breathing".

For the record, a 9,000 dollar lenses or more are not an option for me. I can't even consider anything over 2 grand.

I am willing to buy used equipment.

I would think that Nikon FD or Canon EOS lenses would be more than sufficient. 35mm film has a lot more resolution than HD. Nikon FD lenses are better suited for this setup because of the manual iris. Unless you are willing to fork out really big money for the zooms, you may find them too slow to use. You are already losing 1-2 stops with the M35. It would probably be a good idea to start out with primes.

I personally have a bunch of Canon L glass, so I am planning to suck it up and use those when the G35 comes out :)
