hd - lcd monitors for a mac pro?

is anyone using a cheaper nice hd-lcd monitor with their mac pro, i just sold my 2 inch mac monitor ( it was the old one with the plastic frame) and now i want to get 2 20 inch hd-lcd monitors, yet i cannot afford the mac version...so. i m looking for a good other brand...i am using this mac for editing hd video from my panasonic ag-hmc 150

Dell. Acer. I use Dell at home, Acer at work. Both are good.

I didn't know Apple put out a 2" monitor! ;~)

I use the Dell 2407 at home for my freelance work and it's great. The new version, 2408 has even better color gamut. 24" with 1920x1200 resolution. Just about half the price of the Apple 24"

I don't usually do video editing at home, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so with that monitor.

Here at the day job we have 30" Cinema Displays all around for the editors. IMO the Dell versions have better specs then the aging 30" Cinema Dislplay tech. But having monitors that match the towers were more important for some reason.
