HD camera for trip

I'm looking at a few small AVCHD cams to take on a trip....


Anyone have any opinions of the Panasonic HDC-SD100K?

I like the Canon HF10, but would like a focus dial which I think the HDC-SD100K has.


Any input would be appreciated!
 
no one eh? I think I'm leaning towards the HF100... The manual focus system really blows, but it has a better picture than the Panasonic (so I've read).... I prefer Panasonic products, and the control layout seems to be way more intelligent, but you can't be the quality of image that canon HF10/HF100 produces for the price point....
