Hi guys, sorry if there's already a thread on this. I tried searching but I couldn't find what I needed.
I shot my film on an EX1 HD 1920x1080 24p and looking to transfer my film to HDCam. Any recommendations as far as the template? Here's what I know so far. The festival I'm attending intends to show the film on HDCam(not SR).
I'm in contact with a post house and his recommendations is to transfer the film to YUV 10 bit into a hard drive. Then I'll bring the hard drive over to the post house and he'll transfer the project onto their hard drive so they can transfer it to HDCam. But there are other technical questions that I'm unfamiliar with.
Attached is a picture of the video and audio settings. Any recommendations as far as settings? The YUV 10bit template is under AVI. Should I use AVI? Does that mean it's uncompressed? Should I be transferring an uncompressed file under another format?
This is all technically overwhelming. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully the thread will be some use to filmmakers in the future.
