Hayson Film

I believe this is a new product and not a lot of people
have gotten it or are aware of it. I just recently found out about it.

I have some gear from Hyson Films and am very happy.
Just waiting for his full line up to appear. Otherwise I believe
in his products and I know it will be awesome.

I just pre-ordered the X matte box and also purchased rails. The stuff all looks very nice.

I notice the matte box doesn't have a bottom 'flag', are there any other matte boxes like this or am I dreaming?

I just bought the base plate and rods with the standard matte box from Joel at Hyson Films. I love the x matte but all this equipment is getting expensive. The HD matte box has a removeable bottom flag so maybe that's the case with the x matte box. Just email Joel and ask, he's very good at getting back to you.

I asked Joel at hysonfilms.com if the x matte box had a bottom flag (he replied quickly as always too), here's his words...

"Yes it comes with a bottom flag that has adjustable Flags, brows and Detatchable just like the top Flag".
