Hawaii Five- O computer system - have you done it?

[New_Zealand]

I have noticed that a lot of shows are doing this computer thing where the talents are moving object and bring up things on a computer screen that is floating in front of them. They are touching the air as if the screen is there. Has anyone on this forum done this before? I have a small scene where I have a guy open up a desk drawer and touches a screen and it bring up things he needs to look at. I was going to try and do it with the new ipad and have footage already in there so it looks like he is moving object across the screen with his hand.

You could record it or make an animation and then include it into the video so it looks like the actor is actually doing something
