So my boss has an old DVD from ten years back, it was a feature film that he shot.
He wants to me rip the content, the feature film, from the DVD so I can edit it, and pull certain scenes and do some color work and music.
The first thing I did was download the program DVDShrink 3.2.
Once the DVD Rip was done, it had created a Video_TS folder, which contained .VOB files (the feature film was a .VOB). I viewed the file through VLC Media Player, I could watch the entire movie from start to finish.
I transferred the file from my desktop to my External HD, and then transferred it to my desktop.
I load up Adobe Premiere and drag and drop the file into the Program, it conforms and then when I view it, half the movie is cut off....
**my next move, is to convert the .VOB file to .AVI maybe it will allow it to be edited.
I do not understand why this is happening, does anyone have a better or correct way to go about this?
Thanks!
