Im having a lot of trouble trying to replicate the look that can be found at 2:03, 2:06 of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqHliQijgvA
On a thread I started before people said this scheme is all about lighting ratios which I understand. I tried to use a 300w tunsten light through a softbox and a 1000k open face as the hairlight from behind(which i thought would be a difference in light ratios) but I still couldnt get that distinct edge like in this video. I know that these are hmi lights but cant this look be done with tungsten lights?

I guess that is two equal sidelights (at 10 and 2 oclock if the camera is pointing at 12 oclock) with a foamcore (White board) fill from the front, maybe that fill board has some bounced light on it, or maybe not

A mattebox or good light shapers may be required to reduce flare
