Hey guys. I've got a ten-minute clip (720x364), uncompressed AVI. It's like 15 gigs. I want to encode it to Quicktime using H.264, but am having a hell of a time trying to do it. If I try from my PP2 timeline, it doesn't seem to work at all. I can do it from AE, but the files are quite large.
Are there any good standalone quicktime encoders I can get for free or download or something? I have quicktime pro, but I cannot for the life of me firgure out how to use Quicktime Pro to encode anything.
Not only is video a problem, but the audio compression options on PP2 and AE are awful. What the heck is 32-bit floating point??? Where is MP3 or any audio codec I have heard of?
Any suggestions would be appreciated a lot.
