Having a HVR-Z1U Issue please someone help :(

Hey there guys,
I have an Sony HVR-Z1U and all i get at the moment is a black screen. By that I mean. All the icons on the screen work. I see battery usage etc but the screen only displays black. It's as if the lens cover is on (though it's not). I've tried touching every button and even doing a factory reset.

Has anyone out there had this problem? Or does anyone have an idea as to what the issue might be?

I'm in australia btw.
 
Must be that Sony mojo....sorry I had to say it. You are on a Panna love site.

Any chance there is something weird with your aperture control. Have you tried going from manual to auto and back? Is there any iris presets in your scene file controls.
