Sometimes when I'm capturing the capture window says "removing advanced pulldown from source material" and sometimes the window has not said that. Yet in the browser it says the vid rate is 23.98 and when I add up how many frames make a second it equals 24 but it skips from 0 frames to 2 frames from 8 frames to 10 frames and so forth.
How do I know for sure that I've ingested 24pa properly and the proper pulldown has been done as opposed to random selection of frames trying to get to 23.98?
I have easy setup set to 24 advanced pulldown and capture setting set to 24 advanced pulldown in fcp studio.
I'm now using a panasonic gs19 instead of my 100b as a deck.
