have an Exabyte tape drive?

I was about to buy a VXA-2/Firewire, but then I started reading reviews of Exabyte reliability and cust. svc. Uniformly horrible, and this was on a mssg. bd. for IT people. Any different opinions?
 
I don't know how price compares but for use media guys this is what you need to go with

LTO2 tape drive or LTO3

Post house are even putting them in so they can work with media writen on them
 
The LTO drives I've seen are very expensive. VXA-2 is an entry-level, Firewire solution. But apparently, it's a nightmare for a lot of users.
 
Sorry I have never use one but what I can tell you is tape drives in general have had allot of problems with fast data rates. And video needs a fast data rate. LTO is the onlything that I have hered good things about. But like all production equipment it costs
