Watched this great doc last night on the DP Haskell Wexler done by his son Mark.
Really interesting....what a wild guy Haskell is, even at the age of 83.

The film has alot of heart, definitly not a sugar coated biography.

This film is not for people who can't handle the word Fu*k.....
Some great moments of George Lucas talking about digital to Haskell.

Too bad Mark didn't use a DVX.

i think i read somewhere that he told his son not to make some Entertainment Tonight bullshit, out of the documentary. Sounds like mission accomplished.

where did you see the documentary and what is the title?

I love Haskell Wexler's work and would love to check out this movie. I was able to score a copy of
Look Out Haskell, It's Real: The Making of 'Medium Cool'. It was very cool. I would also love to find a copy of Medium Cool.

I'm running to my video store right now.

THere is a really emotional scene that is between Haskell and one of his wifes and Mark filming it...really something. Also the last scene is a classic....
