Has this ever happend to you ???

Ok so I shot a short with my Canon A1, we used two 60 minute tapes. Well when I go to digitize the footage to the directors harddrive, it only lets me digitize 9minutes 24 seconds and 27 frames. Then it says that it can't do anymore because thers no room on the hard drive. So i click ok then press play and capture now again and it does the same thing 6 times per tape all exatly at 9:24:27 but it lets me capture more as long as I press play and capture again. So I wasnt able to digitize in longer segments. What could be the cause of this ??

In the capture preferences there is a setting to limit the capture to either a specified time or space. Check that. If you have plenty of drive space you an set the preference to 63 min ensuring you can capture an entire tape.
