Has anyone used the redrock Follow Focus system?

I'm really thinking about getting this before I start shooting a a project next year...has anyone used this baby? I own their adapter and I'm pleased...but I have my doubts of whether do i need this or not.

I just bought the adapter and follow focus. I'm not all too happy about the adapter because it has to sit so far right on the base plate that I have to move the bars all the way forward and when I do that then I can see them in my shot. The follow focus is pretty cool though. Especially if you have an AC. Or if you are able to stand on the side of the camera.

Don't get the Redrock follow focus, go the Redrock forum to learn more...Their follow focus has a lot of play and cannot repeat focus properly. They are working on a fix but I don't think it's out yet. If you want a serious F.F, get the Chrosziel DV or the Petroff Mini Follow Focus. Both are more expensive that the Redrock, but unfortunatly, you can't make a good follow focus for cheap.
