i have a bunch of driving scenes in my upcoming short film, and we'll be shooting those on a process trailer. any advice? i have both day and night shots. 2 actors in the front seats. mostly dialogue. i'll be using an ex1 with the stock lens (31mm at the wides), maybe a screw on wide angle adapter. will that be wide enough? will the window glare be an issue? anything i should be concerned about? thanks.

Are you shooting off a hostess tray or through the front window? If you are shooting through glass, a polarizer is an absolute must, otherwise you will see nothing through the glass. For day stuff, a 1200 HMI does a pretty good job at bring up the light level on talent. At night, small kinos that you can tape to the dash are fantastic as you can normally run them off a car inverter. Wide shouldn't be much of an issue depending on how you shoot it. Normally it's nice to have some shallow DOF to go between your two actors. If you are using a hostess tray, try and mount the camera straight to the tray's cheese plate grid. Otherwise, you will get too much "bounce" in the camera.
