Hi,
The other night i watched a new flick called AMERCIAN POOL and i was wondering how come the cinematography looks sooo crap?? I'm not an expert but i'm guessing no or very poor lighting was to blame for most of it. I did notice shallow depth of field was pretty much non-existant. I also thought it looked like DV footage. If anyone has seen this movie and has some answers as to why the movie looked so bad i'd be really interested in learning how to avoid such a look for future filmmaking.
Cheers,
Ben
