harry potter 4

every Harry Potter movie seems to get better as each new one is made... must say, this one looks better than the rest
Seems grittier and darker than before, which it should be

Looks good. Am I the only one who thinks they better start making these movies back to back; those kids are getting too old.

Looks fantastic! I've loved every book and every movie, though I am wondering how they plan to condense the book to movie length.

Yeah I've watched he trailer a milion times now. It looks like an AWESOME movie. It is the most expensive movie ever made - 500 million dollars (even beating LOTR) from what mugglenet.com has reported. I hope they didnt cut too much out in the 4th movie - its supposed to be the same running time as the 3rd movie and its about 300 pages longer. I think they should have stuck woth the 4 hours running/15 minute intermision plan. More importantly, the Half-Blood Prince is released in 68 days!!! That book will be incredible.

Dan Radcliffe (the kid who plays harry) is signed on for the fifth movie. They are all about the same age as the characters in the books.

ROFL 500 mil?? Noone in their right mind would hand out that money on a movie production. Noone. The most expensive films to date are Titanic and Spiderman 2 with budgets of 200 mil each. LOTR you mentioned was about 300 mil for all 3 parts. No producer or studio is going to triple the highest budget just like that, we'll probably never even see 300 mil flicks, because it's too risky. This one cost ~130-150 mil just like 3 previous Harry Potter movies...

Not to mention that, even though HP movies are getting better with each new installment, they're also making considerably less money each new time - 975mil > 849 > 761. Following the trend GoF should be around 650mil worldwide unless a miracle happens. To make 500 mil budget back it'd have to make over a billion in theaters...

There you go:

Production Budget: $130 million according to www.boxofficemojo.com

Budget $130,000,000 (estimated) - www.imdb.com

xl70e3. I think he meant all 4 parts together. That's the only way it's possible.

//btw. I hope that they will show quidditch world cup....

From what we know, the movie is most likely going to start out at the weasleys or on the way to the quiddich world cup. They will probably show that scene. The one scene I want to see that seems like they cut out is Harry using his firebolt against the Hungarian Horntail. In the preview he is just running around without his broom, while in the book, as soon as the task starts, he accios's for his broom.

BTW, I did mean all 4 parts together...sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well, its possible that a miracle may happen in that there are no more LotR movies coming out as a rival. That sort of leaves GoF in the open. Also, the characters are getting older which may appeal to older viewers that may have passed up the earlier films. Just MHO, of course. But I'm hoping GoF does gangbusters!

Nice to know that I'm not the only one who enjoys the Harry Potter films. I can't wait 'till it comes out............or can I?

I love the beginning of the trailer...where it shows the characters growing up kinda...it feels really weird watching people grow up. It makes me feel old.

This Harry Potter looks like the best one yet. And everytime I see trailer for one of them they look so much different than I think they would look.
