HARDWIRED Lavs... who, when, why?

no - the factory hard wire mikes are ok and they work 12-48v ph
and these which where brake in the middle to work with wireless while connected as hard wire
i meant that if you have one which wired for g-2 transmitter -dont try to put simple xlr adaptor since it doesn't convert the 48
 
one of my favorite pieces of equipment is the plug on adaptor for my sennheiser wireless.

it is meant to be used with a handheld mic but you can plug any xlr source into it.

i have used it many times for plugging into a sound board at a live show and i have used it with a regular lav many times.
