hardware audio controls for PPro

Not really dvx related, but...

Do you know of any hardware mix panel that can plug into PPro and control the audio sliders in real time?

Would love to be able to control multiple audio tracks at once instead of inching them one at a time with the mouse.

thanks.

Re: hardware audio controls for PPro

That's a good question but too bad Preimere dosen't allow you to do this. I've tried it with my Tascam FW1884 which has automated features and it dosen't work. I don't rely on Preimere for sound mix. I either use Cubase or Nuendo for my final mixes. Plus I never really look too much into this becuase like I said before I use Cubase and Nuendo for my final audio mixes. If someone finds out a solution let me know.

Well, cant find anything for PPro, but did find for Audition, which upon thinking about it, is a much better place to mix audio compared to PPro

option 1
Mackie Control Universal -$1000 (coincedentally supports Vegas with Video editing)

option 2
Tascam US-428 - $300 (although unsure about compatibility, but did read somewhere that it could/would/will work)

option 3
Event EZbus - $600

Now, the last 2 say they support Cool Edit Pro, so I don't know if anything changed when Adobe took control.

Re: hardware audio controls for PPro

these all look good, but I would actually be happier with something less advanced. I would rather have my audio coming out through my dv deck, rather than a seperate audio channel.

I just want something to control the sliders alone... something like this:

Can I do this with any program that accepts a MIDI signal. I am not sure that i can use MIDI to control software sliders.
