OK, I'm building a PC. I got a mother board that will support SATA and EIDE. The Hard Drive that I'm looking at is SATA with 3Gb/s transfer rate, but my mother board will only allow 1.5Gb/s transfer rate. Will this significantly slow down the SATA hard drive? Should I just go with an IDE hard drive? Or will the SATA drive still be faster than a Ultra DMA mode 5 IDE hard drive?
