hard copy script

Is there a certain standard for how to present a hard copy of a script? folder? binder? I have it printed out, just need to know what to do with it.

The standard is printed on three-hole punched paper, with a brass brad in the top hole and a brass brad in the bottom hole.

I have also heard you can put a hard cover page (as in card stock) any colour you like (floyd rules). What I don't know is if that hard cover would act as a replacement for your title page, and what kind of info you would put on the hard cover if it isn't the title page.

If you add a card stock cover, it usually bears only the title and author lines. The usual cover page remains, with the usual cover page information.

I'd skip the card stock cover, but it's true that it's sometimes included. Rarely seen in a professional environment, though (only place I recall seeing them used regularly was on the various Star Trek tv shows). IIRC the Avatar scripts had them too, but that's likely because we had a limited number in circulation so they needed a little bit of extra protection.

Thanks that helps. I generally don't use them, but some screenwriting competitions (Nicholls as an example) reccomend using one.
